[구미뉴스]=김천시(시장 김충섭)는 지난 3일부터 전국 최고의 품질을 인정받고 있는 김천자두 수확이 본격적으로 이루어진다.
이번에 수확하는 자두는 개령면 서부리 김해술씨의 시설하우스에서 재배된 자두로 지난 1월 상순부터 가온을 시작해 노지보다 50일가량 빠르게 수확하며, 백화점‧대형마트‧도매시장 등을 통해 높은 가격에 판매될 예정이다.
현재 김천시에는 김해술씨의 농장 외에도 22농가 7.18ha에서 시설자두 재배가 이뤄지고 있으며 노지 자두가 나오기 전인 6월 중순까지 수확이 이루어질 예정이다.
